Sometimes though, the whole course of the lesson needs to be changed, and that generally happens when the "foundation stones" in relation to previously learned skills aren't well enough developed to move onto a new topic or be practiced in a more challenging environment.

The next two videos are an example of how the pupil's co-ordination skills aren't good enough to cope with "busy roundabouts" which was her desired goal for the lesson - the original goals have to be put on hold until the co-ordination skills have been improved and the "busy roundabouts" will have to be looked at on another day.
