Changing the course of a lesson
Sometimes it may be necessary to change the aims of a lesson completely; generally it happens when the pupil cannot cope with the top being learned either because they lack the foundation skills needed to learn about something new or the cannot cope with the environment they're put into. But I can't envisage changing the aims of a lesson to deal with something requiring a greater level of skill than the pupil already has - something beyond their stage of learning or competence and in this video I discuss this with someone preparing for their Part 3 test.
